We sell a comprehensive range of packing and protective equipment from flat packed boxes and tape to mattress covers and bubble wrap. Security IssuesThe whole purpose of using Anchor Self Storage is the fact that you know your goods are stored in a dry, secure environment, under lock and key. As part of the process of hiring a unit from us we require all customers to provide us with two forms of identification – one of which must have a photograph i.e. photo drivers license or passport plus a utility bill but not a mobile phone bill. Failure to provide this documentation will result in us being unable to hire a unit to you, as all customers are issued with a swipe card allowing them access into the storage facility. We also have an intercom device which connects directly to our security services to ensure peace of mind with all of our customers. NO PROOF OF ID NO SWIPECARD.In addition to our stringent customer identification process your goods are protected by the following methods:- Customer swipe in/out system Existing customers must swipe their card prior to entering and leaving the storage area. This system is linked to the individual unit door alarms and will alert us if somebody attempts to gain entry to a unit whilst the hirer is not on site. In the unlikely event of a fire, this system will also tell our staff who is in the building and in what area of the facility they are situated.
