- Businesses with excess or seasonal stock.
- Businesses with bulky / valuable equipment to be stored
securely and accessed anytime.
Businesses who are currently using valuable office storage
space for archived documents etc.
How can Anchor help you?
Our friendly, well trained staff will assist you in ensuring
you hire the correct unit for your needs – we will not
rent you a unit that is too big or small for your requirements
and can advise you on packing techniques / equipment to ensure
your goods are adequately protected during storage / transit.
We sell a comprehensive range of packing and protective equipment
from flat packed boxes and tape to mattress covers and bubble
wrap.
Security Issues
The whole purpose of using Anchor Self Storage is the fact
that you know your goods are stored in a dry, secure environment,
under lock and key. As part of the process of hiring a unit
from us we require all customers to provide us with two forms
of identification – one of which must have a photograph
i.e. photo drivers license or passport. Failure to provide
this documentation will result in us being unable to hire
a unit to you, as all customers are issued with a swipe card
allowing them access into the storage facility.
NO PROOF OF ID NO SWIPECARD.
In addition to our stringent customer identification process
your goods are protected by the following methods:-
Security barrier access to site
Anybody wishing to enter the site out of business hours will
need their customer swipe card to gain entrance to the grounds
of the facility via a fully automated barrier control system.
Customer swipe in /out system
Existing customers must swipe their card prior to entering
and leaving the storage area. This system is linked to the
individual unit door alarms and will alert us if somebody
attempts to gain entry to a unit whilst the hirer is not on
site. In the unlikely event of a fire, this system will also
tell our staff who is in the building and in what area of
the facility they are situated.
Personal customer padlocks
All customers are responsible for the padlocks securing their
units
Dual burglar alarm
The entire storage facility is protected by external alarms
with a live connection to BT’s Redcare system.
All individual units are fitted with a door alarm linked to
our card swipe system to ensure nobody can tamper with the
door of your unit while you are not on site. Both alarm systems
are constantly monitored during business hours from our reception
area and remotely, from off-site outside of business hours.
Fire alarms
The entire building is fitted with state-of-the-art fire and
smoke detectors linked directly to the emergency services.
Intercom / customer help stations
Our internal intercom system incorporates wall mounted base
stations on all floors – allowing customers to contact
staff in reception in the event of a query or problem whilst
in the storage facility.
